Dornier Do 24 – A milestone in aviation history

With the development of the Dornier Type 24, which was capable of flying over the ocean, the German aviation pioneer Claude Dornier, achieved an important milestone in aviation history in 1937. A flying boat, equipped with a floating fuselage and three powerful engines, became renowned worldwide, with a total of 313 aircraft being built.
