Job description

Tasks

  • Lead and coordinate all safety activities and support quality assurance by initiating necessary improvements

  • Securing the financing and implementation of all activities as required

  • Responsibility for establishing and maintaining an effective management system

  • Management of the entire area of occupational safety, fire protection and industrial safety ordinance

  • Ensuring corporate security, e.g. by purchasing and using security technology

  • Coordination of security staff and preparation of emergency plans

  • Appointment of a group of persons to ensure compliance with all requirements of the operator, in accordance with required standards and aviation regulations

Requirements

  • Degree in business administration or similar qualification with focus on risk and/or safety management, operational safety management, engineering or accountable management

  • Experience in the fields of supply chain security, supplier management, security technology or ideally aviation

  • Basic legal knowledge in the areas of criminal, civil, labour and data protection law as well as knowledge of EASA and LBA requirements

  • Alternatively, many years of experience in the field of logistics as well as process understanding and optimization

  • Dynamic and agile personality with the courage to make sustainable decisions and the necessary assertiveness

  • Experienced application knowledge in dealing with MS Office

  • Fluent German and English
