Job description

Tasks

  • Processing of award procedures in the UVgO and VOB area and for freelance services in national and EU-wide award procedures

  • Consulting and support of the departments in all procurement issues

  • Close cooperation with the divisions of the headquarters, the BMVI and external parties

  • Examination of the tender documents of the users in terms of public procurement law

  • Development and preparation of the formal components of the tender documents

  • Execution of the awarding procedure with the participation of the users with preparation of the award file including award notice, commitment of funds and bidder discussion

  • Co-design of the organizational structure of the northern branch

Requirements

  • Successfully completed studies, preferably with focus on general administration or public law

  • Alternatively, a comparable qualification (e.g. administrative specialist) or comparable knowledge and experience, which enable the above mentioned activities

  • Several years of relevant professional experience in the field of public procurement

  • Good technical and methodical knowledge of public procurement law in the national and European area (UVgO, VOB, HOAI, VgV as well as the corresponding special federal regulations)

  • Experienced handling of MS Office

  • Team player with IT affinity and willingness to learn about software applications (iTWO, electronic tendering)
