Civil Engineer Bridge Construction (m/f/x)

Job description

Tasks

• Work on construction projects of structural engineering of federal highways in the area of responsibility of the Rhineland branch
  

• Recalculation of several bridge structures according to the recalculation guideline
  

• Preparation of the award documents, management of the award procedures, handling of the contracts
  

• Supervision of recalculations and feasibility studies for reinforcements and implementation planning
  

Requirements

• Successfully completed studies in civil engineering with specialization in structural engineering
  

• Several years of professional experience and knowledge in structural engineering (preferably in bridge construction)
  

• Work experience in the road construction administration desirable
  

• Good knowledge of technical data processing and secure handling of MS Office
  

• Business fluent German language skills
  

• Class B driver's license and readiness to travel within the area of the branch office
  

• Willingness to work nights and weekends and extensive training at our Gelsenkirchen site
  

• Physical aptitude (e.g. ability to hear and see, freedom from vertigo)
