Job description

Tasks

  • Design of award procedures (construction services, planning and engineering contracts as well as other services and supplies below and above the EU thresholds), including controlling

  • Optimization and further development of awarding and contract processes for company-wide application

  • Conception of a company-wide supplemental management within the scope of the execution of construction work, including the design of uniform technical inspection standards

  • Advising the branch offices and field offices on issues relating to the preparation of tender documents as well as contract implementation, including follow-up management

  • Decisions in out-of-court contract award and supplemental disputes

  • Participation in committees and working groups including lectures and publications

Requirements

  • Completed university studies (diploma/master), preferably with focus on civil engineering

  • Several years of professional experience in the construction industry (focus on costing and supplementary work), ideally in the field of transport infrastructure

  • Several years of experience on the client side in the area of preparation and quality assurance of tender documents, price clarification, construction supervision and post-tender review, ideally in the area of transport infrastructure

  • Specialist knowledge in the areas of GWB, VgV, VOB, UVgO; ideally experience in the handling of award procedures according to HVA

  • Experience in committee activities and experience in compiling STLK and/or STLB catalogs

  • Project success and solution-oriented action

  • IT affinity and secure handling of iTWO, MS PowerPoint, Excel and Word

  • Experience with digital awarding workflows

  • Interdisciplinary approach, economic action and commercial thinking

  • Interdisciplinary thinking

  • Willingness to travel on business
