Responsibility for strategic, operational and technical purchasing
Development of cross-location procurement and purchasing processes
Observation and analysis of national and international procurement markets
Identification of savings potentials to optimize material and manufacturing costs
Ensuring the ability to deliver and optimizing the supply chains
Conception of future strategies with the most important strategic suppliers for an efficient development and optimization process according to LEAN aspects
Implementation of supplier audits
Supervision of the building management
Successfully completed technical or business studies or comparable field of study
Alternative commercial training with focus on purchasing / materials management
Professional experience in (strategic) purchasing in a manufacturing company
Experience in steel and metal is an advantage
Experience in a group of companies
Very good written and spoken English skills
Experienced handling of MS Office
Knowledge of the ERP system Microsoft Dynamics AX or MAS 90 is a great advantage
