Job description

Tasks

  • Development and operationalization of an innovation strategy aligned with the IT strategy of the IT division as well as the digitization and business strategy of the entire organization

  • Design and implementation of measures to promote the culture of innovation in the company

  • Development of an innovation management process and an innovation workshop/platform that enables participation and transparency in innovation projects

  • Observation of trends, market developments and technologies as well as building a network of start-ups and innovation forges

  • Development of evaluation criteria to assess innovative ideas and innovation activities (for short-term tactical gains as well as long-term strategic advantages)

  • Identification of innovation potential from daily business operations and corresponding derivation of measures

  • Coach for agile working, Lean Startup, Design Thinking and for user-oriented solution design

  • Organization and implementation of creative workshops and evaluation of ideas

  • Preparation of decision papers for testing and implementation of innovative ideas and development and maintenance of the master repository

  • Development of "Proof-of-Concepts", demonstration of the benefits of technical innovations as well as support of necessary measures for the development of the portfolio

  • Participation in all relevant working groups, steering committees, steering committees

Requirements

  • Successfully completed studies in computer science, business or administrative informatics, (business) engineering or similar

  • Sound knowledge in requirements analysis and customer-oriented solution development (e.g. UX, Design Thinking, Lean Startup, Agile)

  • Experience in the selection and application of design tools and methods as well as the investigation and analysis of new technologies, trends, standards

  • Knowledge in the design and implementation of innovation events (e.g. Design Thinking Workshops, Google Design Sprints)

  • Several years of experience in innovation management, in coaching, coordination and development of agile teams as well as in the operative implementation of processes in innovation and idea management

  • Willingness to travel for business trips within Germany
