Job description

Tasks

  • Co-design and maintenance of the company-wide release strategy

  • Planning, coordination and documentation of all publications, go-live and deployment activities

  • Conception of solution approaches to ensure a flawless release quality

  • Identification and elimination of risks and issues regarding the impact on release scope, quality and schedule

  • Establishment and implementation of the control center for GoLive setting and clarification of dependencies, risks and obstacles

  • Coordination of the final acceptance in the pre-production system

  • Participation in the conception, automation, maintenance and improvement of the entire release and deployment process chain

  • Ensuring the compatibility of process interfaces (e.g. to IT change management / change management)

Requirements

  • Completed studies with a focus on computer science, business informatics, administrative informatics, IT management or business administration with minor in computer science or similar

  • Many years of professional experience as IT Release Manager, ideally with specialist knowledge in the cloud environment and SAP

  • In-depth understanding and expertise in IT

  • Knowledge of classical and agile project methods as well as ITIL-based processes, preferably with certification

  • Willingness to travel on business within Germany

  • Strong analytical, planning and conflict management skills
