Job description


  • Creation and continuous development of test strategies, test concepts, test (management) processes

  • Support in the introduction, implementation and further development of test systems and automation solutions

  • Planning, coordination and monitoring of all test activities as well as reporting on test progress and quality status

  • Ensuring employee and IT service provider availability and the quality of test environments

  • Consulting for the planning and execution of tests of all kinds (unit, integration, load and UA tests)

  • Consultation on test design, case creation, execution and automation in projects

  • Review and evaluation of test-relevant documents, e.g. specifications, requirement specifications or technical concepts

  • Review of offers and test services of external test service providers on time, quality and cost


  • Completed studies with a focus on computer science, business informatics, administrative informatics, IT management or business administration with a minor in computer science or similar

  • Many years of professional experience in test management and test automation

  • Sound knowledge of test methods, ideally with certification as ISTQB Test Analyst or Test Automation Engineer

  • Know-how in test design as well as test processes, methods and tools, such as HP ALM, JIRA, MTM, etc.

  • Knowledge of unit, integration, load and performance tests as well as UAT tests

  • Experience in both agile development and agile testing desirable

  • Willingness to travel on business within Germany
