Job description

Tasks

  • Control and conceptual implementation of the requirements of natural and environmental law at all levels of planning for federal highways

  • Allocation, processing, control and examination of the landscape planning contributions such as UVS, LBP, species protection expert contributions, FFH compatibility tests and faunistic expert opinions for the extension, conversion and new construction of the federal freeways

  • Support and information for all persons, technical authorities, local authorities and associations involved in the planning process with environmental concerns

  • Close interdisciplinary and participatory project planning and coordination with the road technology design and engineering planning departments and with other experts

  • Representation of the planning in the internal administrative process, within the framework of public participation, before committees and municipal bodies as well as before the supervisory authorities

  • Participation in legal proceedings to obtain the building law

  • Supervision of the planning of reconnection measures

Requirements

  • Successfully completed studies (TU / TH / Master) in the field of landscape planning with a focus on biology or species protection or as a certified biologist or similar

  • Several years of professional experience in an engineering office or public administration

  • Several years of relevant professional experience and sound technical, legal and methodological knowledge of project-related environmental and landscape planning

  • Very good knowledge in the field of species protection law

  • Experience in project management

  • Confident written and oral expression

  • Willingness to travel within the area of the branch office

  • In individual cases willingness to attend evening appointments
