Job description


  • Preparation and coordination of environmentally relevant planning, such as landscape planning contributions (e.g. EIS, EIA, LBP, species protection expert contributions, faunistic expert reports)

  • Control and implementation of the requirements of natural and environmental law from preliminary planning to obtaining the building law

  • Monitoring and management of environmental measures on compensation and replacement areas and roadside greenery

  • Preparation of environmental expert and legal opinions and obtaining individual permits for exemptions under nature conservation law

  • Management, supervision and control of freelance engineering services

  • Project planning and coordination with the road technology design and engineering planning departments and other experts

  • Participation in legal proceedings to obtain the building law

  • Advice to the freeway maintenance authorities on green maintenance work and tree inspections based on the FLL tree inspection guidelines


  • Completed scientific studies (FH/Bachelor) of landscape planning

  • Alternatively Dipl. - engineer conclusion of the field of activity nature protection and landscape planning, landscape conservation, landscape architecture or comparable

  • Several years of relevant professional experience in landscape planning in the field of nature conservation/landscape management

  • Good knowledge of flora and fauna

  • Experience in dealing with GIS-based specialized information systems

  • Experience in public administration, preferably road construction administration

  • Class B driver's license including the readiness to drive a company car

  • Willingness to travel within the area of the branch office (if necessary, willingness to attend evening appointments)
