Job description

Tasks

  • Development and establishment of a project portfolio in close coordination with the team leader Portfolio and project management

  • Independent and holistic management of the project portfolio consisting of programs and projects through active sponsorship, leadership control and participation in specific initiatives to ensure that they meet time, cost and quality requirements

  • Independent implementation of an effective and comprehensive review, reporting and presentation structure

  • Independent performance of continuous portfolio, program and project evaluations and improvement initiatives

  • Constant cooperation with program managers and (multi-)project managers who are responsible for the execution of the constitutive workflows within the portfolio and the central IT requirements management

  • Monitoring of all operational program and project activities of the portfolio and (multi-)project managers with suitable PPPM toolchains

  • Implementation of portfolio controlling with regard to quality, costs and adherence to schedules

  • Proactive and regular reporting to the team leader Portfolio and project management

Requirements

  • A successfully completed college or university degree, preferably with a focus on computer science, business informatics, administrative informatics, engineering, business administration or comparable knowledge and experience

  • Profound expertise in the areas of portfolio, program and project management, preferably with certifications such as AXELOS Management of Portfolio Practitioner, AXELOS Management Successful Programs Advanced Practitioner, PMI Project Management Professional or AXELOS PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner
    Profound expertise in agile frameworks and lean management, preferably with certification, such as SAFe Lean Portfolio Manager, Large-Scale Scrum Practitioner or Certified Scrum@Scale Practitioner

  • Exceptional track record of delivering program and project portfolios on time, on budget, on quality and on specification

  • Experience in managing multiple and complex programs and projects while meeting quality, time, and budget

  • At least 7 years experience in portfolio, program and (multi-) project management

  • Readiness to travel for business trips within the country
