Job description

Tasks

  • Support in the development, implementation and continuous improvement of the problem management process

  • Analysis of recurring IT incidents and problem reporting

  • Regular review of the IT landscape and development environments

  • Development and introduction of necessary measures to prevent recurring IT disturbances

  • Analysis of open IT incidents regarding status, progress and escalation needs

  • Quality assurance with regard to the ticket quality of solved IT incidents

  • Regular participation and collaboration in Incident Review Meetings and Lessons Learned Meetings

Requirements

  • Degree in computer science, business informatics, administrative informatics, IT management or business administration with minor in computer science or comparable

  • Many years of professional experience in IT incident and problem management

  • Good knowledge of common standards and best practices in ITSM with certifications in ITIL 4, COBIT 5

  • Basic certification in project management is an advantage

  • Secure handling in ITSM tools, such as ServiceNow, BMC or Ivanti

  • Willingness to travel on business within Germany
