Opportunities for electronics technicians for automation technology

Electronics technicians for automation technology in the ARTS team lay wires and cables, install electronic components such as connectors, switches or sensors, and are responsible for safety technologies. The electronics technicians bring the inner workings of the system to life with the help of schematic diagrams. Large malfunctioning machines are not just a financial liability, they can also quickly lead to accidents. Both the machine and its safety technology must therefore be checked regularly and with care.

Electronics technicians for automation technology can be deployed both in areas of manual skilled labour as well as in the industrial sector. In the manual skilled labour sector, they work closely with direct clients, and often take up the role of handyman as well. By contrast, industrial electronics technicians usually work with a team on much larger machines.
