Start as an office administrator in Munich with ARTS

The Munich region is a unique industrial region: numerous companies with different characteristics have settled here, ranging from large corporations to hidden champions of medium-sized businesses to highly specialised start-ups, and they also benefit from their respective strengths among themselves. The city thus offers an above-average quality of life and work and numerous attractive career opportunities.

Job opportunities

Office administrators can be found in the offices of almost all companies. Since 2014, the specialised training has officially been called "Kaufmann/-frau für Büromanagement" (office management assistant), but lateral entry via other industrial training courses is also possible.

In their daily work, office clerks take on numerous administrative and organisational tasks, often in cooperation with other departments. For example, they may issue pay slips, support logistics or handle important customer communications. In order to properly perform this variety of tasks, self-organisation and good communication skills are indispensable. In addition, constant contact with all departments and external parties requires an impeccable appearance and good verbal and written communication skills.

Projects

ARTS office administrators in Munich work for us and our customers, for example in the automotive industry or in fluid technology. In doing so, they take on an important position in the operative business and numerous organisational and administrative tasks. For example, they look after customer enquiries and offer solution-oriented advice. If specific customer enquiries arise, they are jointly responsible for recording, monitoring and maintaining data along the processing chain. They also handle the processing and correct internal allocation to the various production plants.

In the further processing, ARTS office administrators always keep an overview of the order status and take over, among other things, the deadline and price control or schedule production documents and work them out. They are also responsible for issuing invoices during and after order completion as well as for the corresponding invoice receipt checks.
