Job description

Tasks

  • Processing of procedures from the hiring to the leaving of employees

  • Preparation of job advertisements, job descriptions and evaluations as well as the determination of experience levels

  • Drafting contracts in accordance with the various legal regulations

  • Review and implementation of current collective bargaining, legal and social security entitlements such as vacation, time off, continued payment of wages, etc.

  • Processing and review of the company pension scheme (VBL)

  • Forwarding of compensation payments to the payroll department as well as the control of bookings

  • Support in the preparation of meetings and events

  • Processing of applications and certificates

Requirements

  • University degree in business administration or as an administrative specialist or equivalent knowledge and experience

  • Relevant professional experience in the field of human resources, in particular experience in personnel administration in the public sector

  • Confident application of the relevant collective agreements TVöD, TV-L, TV-Stud, BAT

  • Sound knowledge of the relevant labor laws and regulations

  • Knowledge of company pension schemes

  • Basic knowledge of the Berlin State Budget Code is desirable

  • Experienced handling of MS Office and personnel accounting systems (DATEV)

  • Team player with organizational skills and a service-oriented approach to work
