Job description

Tasks

  • Technical management of the 1st and 2nd level support team for the users of the IT applications in the register census

  • Coordination of personnel deployment

  • Definition, control and optimization of the service operation processes (e.g. incident management) according to ITIL for all productive IT systems in the register census

  • Central contact for escalation management in the event of an incident

  • Interaction with relevant stakeholders (e.g. test, change and release management)  

  • Management of the operational tasks of the "IT Support" subproject (including the timely handling of incidents)

  • Operational support (especially for major incidents)

  • Optimization and establishment of stakeholder-related incident reporting

Requirements

  • Completed scientific studies (Master) or equivalent degree (e.g. Magister/Dipl.-Uni), preferably in computer science

  • First advanced in-depth knowledge in IT support/incident management is desirable

  • Experience with IT service management processes according to ITIL (at least ITIL v3 Foundation Level) and in handling ITSM tools (CMDB) as well as ticket systems (setup, structure, function, reports)

  • Knowledge and experience in the analysis and standardization of operational processes in the IT environment and their introduction or optimization

  • Good knowledge in IT project management as well as experience in using Jira, Confluence or similar systems
