Job description


  • Preparation of all necessary production documents for the repair to meet deadlines and quality targets with the greatest possible economic efficiency.       

  • Leading coordination of participating work preparations for assigned products in organisational, technical and business management matters

  • Preparation of overall production concepts as well as coordination, consolidation and submission of manufacturer's approvals in cooperation with the involved work preparation departments. 

  • Representation of maintenance interests and representation in committees as well as advice to the design department in manufacturing matters 

  • Initiation and coordination of continuous improvement to increase competitiveness

  • Management of malfunctions in the overall production process with the involvement of the responsible departments as well as preparation, analysis and interpretation of production and quality data to generate sustainable remedial measures        

  • Collaboration in the design and standardisation of IT systems and work preparation processes   

  • Lead coordination of the preparation of cost calculations as part of the quotation process and implementation of competitive analyses


  • Successfully completed bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, industrial engineering or similar.

  • Alternatively, technician / business administrator in further training to become a technician/master craftsman with professional experience in a comparable position 

  • Experience in the field of maintenance/repairs as well as in project management  

  • Expertise in the area of work preparation

  • Basic experience as an administrator  

  • Confident handling of MS Office, basic knowledge of SAP and Teamcenter desirable

  • Very good German and good English skills

  • Strong communicator and team player
