Job description


  • Definition and specification of system behavior in cooperation with the development department and customers

  • Analyze requirements for the driver assistance system, function and sensor technology

  • Maintain system specification based on customer and internal change requests

  • Ensure traceability, quality and requirements and define system parameters for implementation, validation and application

  • Generate metrics and statistics on customer and system specifications and present results

  • Support system development team in deriving system requirements from customer requirements and assigning safety requirements

  • Assist in optimizing requirements management guidelines for the projects


  • Completed engineering studies in the area of electrical engineering, computer science, mechatronics, automotive engineering, physics or comparable education

  • Several years of experience with systems, HW or SW design (ideally for embedded solutions and in the automotive industry)

  • Knowledge in development and documentation of system architectures (ideally with Enterprise Architect and SysML and DOORS)

  • Programming skills such as C/C++ or Python are an advantage

  • Experience with vehicle bus systems (e.g. CAN, FlexRay, Ethernet)

  • Fluent English and good German language skills
