Job description


  • Establishment of initial customer contacts including acquisition of new customers and acquisition of projects

  • Support of existing customers and expansion of existing customer relationships

  • Processing of tender documents and inquiries

  • Timely calculation of offers and execution of contract negotiations

  • Advice to the client and clarification of the technical-technological feasibility of the respective customer requirements

  • Optimization of the sales process

  • Handing over of the project after receipt of order to the project management

  • If necessary, disciplinary management Organization, qualification and motivation of employees


  • Completed studies as civil engineer, industrial engineer or mechanical engineer

  • Alternatively, successfully completed vocational training in a job-relevant area with qualification as a technician or master craftsman with comparable knowledge

  • Professional experience in sales in steel construction is important

  • Ideally, knowledge in dealing with contracts according to VOB/B as well as BGB

  • Confident knowledge in handling ERP systems and MS-Office products, especially Excel

  • Very good knowledge of English
