Tasks

• Disciplinary and technical management of the FEXPN1 team of the accounts payable department within the Accounting Shared Service Center (FEX) for the German commercial companies Airbus Operations, Airbus Aerostructures, Premium Aerotec and others.

• Ensuring the defined audit specifications, account management & clarification as well as communication with internal and external process customers

• Coordination of the implementation of closing activities as well as steering of the team within the scope of audits, economic and operational audits

• Business assessment of issues in accounting on the basis of developed decision templates

• Process optimisation and development of corresponding proposals, further development of new methods and procedures in accounting

• Change management and motivation of the team, with particular emphasis on the upcoming restructuring process

• Representation of the department vis-à-vis internal and external stakeholders as well as their advice to ensure timely supplier payments

Qualification

• Completed studies in the field of finance or accounting

• ALTERNATIVE: successfully completed commercial vocational training with additional qualification as a balance sheet accountant

• Several years of professional experience in finance as well as initial experience in project management

• Experience in leading a team and international experience desirable

• Detailed knowledge of MS Office and SAP applications

• Business fluent in German and proficient in English

• Present work permit for the EU

• Communicative team player with a high degree of responsibility, ability to work under pressure and organisational skills
