Tasks

  • Carrying out installation and dismantling work on aircraft in accordance with technical instructions and documentation (AMM, IPC and SRM)
  • Responsibility for the professional maintenance and servicing of electrical systems and components
  • Ensuring the correct implementation of work orders by applying technical drawings
  • Carrying out professional electrical routing and installation of crimpings and plug connections
  • Checking assembly work and ensuring compliance with production requirements and quality standards

Qualification

  • Completed training as mechanic with 2 years of professional experience in the aviation sector
  • Sound expertise in electricity, electromechanics, electronics and the use of testing and inspection tools
  • Confident handling of technical documents (work orders and drawings) and sound knowledge of FOD safety regulations
  • Knowledge of Airbus-specific procedures and quality standards as well as the ability to recognise defects in components
  • Willingness to work shifts and ideally possession of lift truck and lifting platform driving licences
  • Fluency in English
  • Valid work permit for the EU
