IT GENIUS WANTED!
Are you technically up to date and able to combine different technologies? Furthermore, you are communicative, customer-oriented and enjoy working in a team? Then you will enrich the team in the consortium for the national research data infrastructure for engineering sciences (NFID4Ing) with innovative ideas and creative approaches as an Application Engineer!
This position is part-time for 30h and is limited until 30 September 2025.

Design, (further) development and implementation of new applications and system landscapes as well as interfaces in the area of Research Data Management (FDM)
Integration of applications, plug-ins and implementation of scripting solutions
Creation and maintenance of technical documentation for these applications
Discussion and elaboration of the concepts with the participating partners in the consortium as well as researchers from the engineering sciences
Professional and technical support of the users
Professional and technical support in the area of FDM
Completed university studies in computer science or a related discipline
Alternatively, completion of a comparable technical education with relevant professional experience
Experience in software development
Ability and practical experience in describing, presenting and implementing IT requirements
Know-how in the area of FDM, long-term archiving or identity management is an advantage
Knowledge of Java, C++, Python as well as other programming languages is an advantage
Very good knowledge of German and English
