ATO Quality Manager (m/f/x)

Tasks

  • Central contact person for the Safety Management System (SMS) in the area of training as well as for national and international aviation authorities
  • Monitoring and ensuring QMS compliance with official regulations, including compliance with the SUP 04 process on the AHD side
  • Planning, conducting and monitoring audits by creating an annual audit plan and ensuring the implementation of defined corrective actions
  • Advising and supporting specialist departments with regard to quality issues and aviation law requirements
  • Preparing and conducting meetings with the Accountable Manager to optimise quality and safety processes
  • Coordinating and supporting audits by authorities and customers to ensure compliance with all regulatory standards
  • Ensuring training for the Safety Management System (SMS) in accordance with internal AH standards
  • Support and representation of quality management for EASA Part 147 operations at the Kassel site

Qualification

  • Completed studies in the field of mechanical or industrial engineering (at least Master or Diploma)
  • Several years of professional experience in quality management, ideally with sound expertise in EASA regulations, experience in the field of training is an advantage
  • Confident handling of MS Office, including detailed functionalities of common programmes
  • Business fluent in German and English, knowledge of French is an advantage
  • Valid work permit for the EU
