Job description


  • Installation and commissioning of automation systems in the development lab, at the customer's site or at trade fairs, as well as ensuring their suitability and testing 

  • Communicating any issues that may arise to the product management team and working with the automation product line manager to continuously improve the automation offering

  • Provide ongoing training to the sales and technical teams

  • Ensure efficient communication regarding all training and product updates (hardware, software) across all European regions

  • Ensure smooth implementation of new product releases and full understanding of regional managers

  • Prepare, define requirements and participate in laboratory testing in the automation area

  • Ensure testing of each automation system prior to delivery and review of associated checklists


  • Successfully completed technical degree or, alternatively, completed technical vocational training, preferably entry-level employee

  • Practical experience in troubleshooting

  • Experience in fault analysis of electronic and electromechanical components, in automation processing and analysis as well as in software development, preferably in automation / robotic systems

  • Good knowledge of testing techniques

  • Willingness to travel regularly to suppliers and subsidiaries

  • Team player with the ability to work under pressure in a timely manner
