Aviation Maintenance Technician (m/f/x)

Tasks

  • Technical and administrative support of aircraft in the flightline and delivery phase

  • Internal and external material procurement and delivery, as well as monitoring of the ordering process

  • Recording of problems in maintenance and definition of technical solutions

  • Timely identification of malfunctions and taking of appropriate measures with the involvement of the necessary departments

  • Planning and coordination of work by Airbus partners, suppliers and external companies

  • Creation, calculation, validation and commissioning of work plans in the relevant IT systems

  • Ensuring all specifications of the In-Site / On-Site Sub Contracting according to Airbus directives and methods

  • Creation and updating of Work Specifications and Standard Operation Instruction (SOI)

  • Conversion of design documents into production orders taking into account technical instructions

Qualification

  • Completed studies in engineering, mechanical engineering or an equivalent technical course of study

  • ALTERNATIVELY successfully completed technical vocational training with a technician's diploma or specialist qualification

  • Several years of professional experience in aircraft construction

  • Knowledge of work preparation and coordination desirable

  • Expertise in aerospace is a prerequisite

  • Experience in the areas of manufacturing, flight line / delivery as well as in the management of smaller projects or project collaboration desirable

  • Airbus experience as well as in manufacturing engineering advantageous

  • In-depth user knowledge of SAP required, knowledge of Google Workspace advantageous

  • Work permit for the EU available

  • Willingness to work shifts and weekends, Sundays and public holidays as well as on-call duty is required
