Tasks

• Identifying damage to GRP/CFRP aircraft components and determining appropriate repair techniques and required repair materials

• Safe and efficient handling of manufacturer specifications, relevant repair documents, work orders and drawings

• Perform repair work on GFRP and CFRP aircraft components (sanding, laminating, vacuum packaging, curing, painting, polishing)

• Inspection of the performed work

• Preparation of the required technical documentation of all repair work performed

• Care and maintenance of tools

Qualification

• Completed training as structural mechanic, fiber composite technician or comparable, preferably with aviation experience

• Ideally, first professional experience in performing aviation-related composite repair work according to SRM or CMM

• Experience in aviation

• Aviation specific training (human factors, EWIS, tank safety) is desirable

• Good technical English skills

• EU work permit as well as background check is required

• Class B driving license

• Quality-conscious team player with a forward-looking approach to work
