Tasks

  • Inspection of aircraft components as well as final inspection, acceptance and conformity testing of assemblies and components
  • Preparation, analysis and creation of non-conformities (NCs) from visual inspections of aircraft structural components and internals
  • Preparation, processing and follow-up of complaint reports from structural, equipment or final assembly
  • Recording deviations from defined quality standards, initiating corrective measures
  • Evaluating technical complaints in accordance with drawings/construction documents and checking the status documentation as well as preparing the declaration of conformity
  • Enforcing the customer's quality requirements vis-à-vis the supplier in accordance with the inspection plan
  • Creating inspection reports and working with inspection/control plans/QSOI

Qualification

  • Completed technical training
  • Alternatively, quality-experienced career changer with technical training
  • Further training as a technician or master craftsman as well as many years of industry-specific professional experience in aircraft construction are an advantage
  • Experience in manufacturing in the field of aircraft structure, mechanics and electrics and their components
  • Knowledge in the following areas is desirable: Quality assurance, store floor, production, engineering, quality process management and Documentation of NCN (NC/eFA/Concession)
  • Confident handling of MS Office, Google Workspace and SAP
  • Very good knowledge of German is essential, knowledge of English is desirable
  • Willingness to work in a 2-shift system
  • Work permit for the EU
