Aviation Systems Engineer (m/f/x)

Tasks

  • Analysing and classifying incidents: Recording, evaluating and finding solutions for technical incidents of the customer fleet, including participation in the Major Incident Technical Board (MITB).
  • Coordination of technical solutions: Implementation of complex, fleet-wide solutions in collaboration with development, suppliers, quality assurance and the Programme Support Office
  • Participation in new products and services: Integration of customer requirements in the development of innovative products and services
  • Promoting product reliability: establishing and maintaining close cooperation with suppliers to increase the reliability and longevity of products
  • Validation of technical service bulletins (SB): Review and approval of technical aspects to ensure safe and effective solutions
  • Ensuring airworthiness: providing technical expertise to support the long-term airworthiness of the customer fleet
  • Data analysis and information filtering: Recording and targeted forwarding of relevant technical operating data to the development department
  • On-site support: Occasional business trips for direct error analysis and problem solving at customer sites

Qualification

  • Completed studies in engineering or aerospace technology
  • Several years of professional experience in the use and implementation of IT systems, in the aviation industry, in quality assurance and in the creation and management of technical documentation
  • Sound expertise in avionics, ideally with experience in the operational operation of aircraft
  • B2 licence is desirable, alternatively a completed technician qualification
  • Confident handling of MS Office and SAP, including detailed functions
  • Business fluent in German and English
  • Willingness to travel and be on call
  • Existing and valid EU work permit
