Cabin Upgrade Project Manager (m/f/x)

For our renowned client Airbus Operations GmbH in Hamburg Finkenwerder we are looking for a dedicated Cabin Upgrade Project Manager with experience in the industry. In this key position, you will support multicultural and multifunctional teams and contribute significantly to the success of complex projects. You will have a high degree of conflict management skills, persuasiveness and assertiveness to represent the interests of the department in the best possible way. The gross annual salary is between €70,000 and €80,000.

Tasks

  • Proactive participation in the realisation of project goals in compliance with internal and external specifications
  • Ensure smooth collaboration with partners and suppliers to ensure project success and minimise delays
  • Review technical solutions and related documentation in close coordination with suppliers and the engineering team to ensure quality and compliance with requirements
  • Central point of contact for validating and tracking on-time delivery of service bulletins (SBs) and cabin components (kits) to meet contractual obligations

Qualification

  • Degree in a technical subject, business administration or international management
  • Several years of professional experience in engineering and project management as well as initial experience in manufacturing/production, preferably in the aerospace industry
  • Sound knowledge of project management required, experience with Airbus projects an advantage
  • Confident handling of Google Workspace (Google Docs, Sheets, Drive etc.)
  • Business fluent in German and English
  • Willingness to travel internationally, about 1–2 times per year for about one week each time
  • Existing work permit for the EU
