Tasks

• Recognition of damage to GRP/CFRP components with determination of appropriate repair measures and the materials required for this purpose

• Reading, understanding, and applying pertinent repair documentation, work orders, and drawings

• Carrying out repair work on aircraft components made of GRP/CFRP materials

• Use of testing and measuring equipment

• Shafting, laminating and curing with vacuum setups and various heating methods as well as post-processing (painting and polishing)

• Quality inspection and technical documentation of the work performed

• Care and maintenance of tools

Qualification

• Completed technical or craft vocational training, e.g. as a plastics technician, laminator, body builder, carpenter, painter or a comparable qualification

• Confident handling of MS Office applications

• Good knowledge of German and English

• Motivation to acquire the necessary technical knowledge

• Team player with good communication skills, a high level of social competence as well as an independent, structured and service-oriented way of working

• Driving license class B
