Tasks

  • Assumption and independent implementation of tasks within defined projects
  • Determination of verification management and harmonisation with project teams, technical departments and military approval authorities
  • Coordination of the necessary evidence to fulfil approval requirements in cooperation with internal and external stakeholders such as Chief Engineering, Design and Manufacturing
  • Planning, risk management and reporting as part of the approval processes for various work packages
  • Development of the certification basis and requirements baseline as well as validation of verification documents for airworthiness, completeness and compatibility
  • Coordination of verification programmes and integration of measures into the overall project planning
  • Organising all activities for issuing flight approvals for test vehicles and handing over relevant verification documents to authorities
  • Main contact person for military approval authorities for all approval issues

Qualification

  • Completed studies in engineering, aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering or a comparable degree programme (minimum Master's degree or diploma)
  • Several years of professional experience in technical development processes and project management
  • Proven expertise in the certification of aircraft or their systems, ideally with a focus on helicopter development
  • Practical experience in international project management, preferably in the aviation sector
  • Familiarity with the requirements and processes of military clients is an advantage
  • Business fluent in English and advanced knowledge of German; knowledge of French and/or Spanish is desirable
  • Valid work permit for the European Union
