Job description

Tasks

  • Carrying out routine complex analyses using chemical and physical measurement methods according to sample plans/analysis orders

  • Sample preparation and performance of routine, complex analyses by means of instrumental analytics

  • Operation of mixing units (laboratory kneading or rolling mills) 

  • Preparation of rubber mixtures for testing purposes

  • Documentation and communication of measurement data and test results 

  • Evaluation and assessment of the correctness of results

  • Recognition of malfunctions and initiation of the necessary measures  

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training as a chemical laboratory technician or comparable chemical-technical training 

  • Knowledge of physical-chemical relationships

  • Know-how in instrumental analytics (GPC, GC, FTIR)

  • Basic knowledge of the design and operation of laboratory mixing units and test instruments

  • Knowledge in the field of occupational health and safety, fire and explosion protection

  • Confident handling of MS Office and Lims

  • Good knowledge of German, knowledge of English is an advantage

  • Conscientious team player with responsible, foresighted and independent way of working
