Supervision of the running production facilities (in the control room and outside) as well as control, unloading and storage of delivered chemicals
Detection of errors in process-related deviations and problems in the assigned plant sections, derivation of appropriate corrective measures and implementation of instructions for action
Execution of activities as field operator (e.g. safety tours, pump inspection, securing of plant parts, etc.) as well as first line maintenance activities
Regular sampling as well as assessment and evaluation of the results based on the quality parameters in the polymer
Replacement of raw material containers, drums and tankers as well as filters and strainers
Support of loop checks and SIF/BPCS tests (control room and outside) as well as preparation and execution of various plant trials according to standard operating methods
Support in the preparation and execution as well as safety-related supervision of planned plant shutdowns, turnarounds, projects as well as commissioning in the assigned plant section
Mentoring and familiarization of new colleagues in individual plant sections as well as acquisition of in-depth knowledge of plant technology
Completed vocational training as a chemical technician or comparable training
Many years of professional experience in the field of polymer chemistry or chemical engineering
Ideally industrial experience in the field of emulsion styrene butadiene rubber, nitrile butadiene rubber or in related fields
Advanced knowledge and skills in physico-chemical and process technologies as well as in plant operation of a rubber plant and preventive maintenance
Sound knowledge in the field of occupational, health, environmental, fire and explosion protection
Confident handling of MS Office and process control systems
Fluent German and English
Willingness to travel (supervision of production plants in Germany, Poland, Czech Republic)
