Tasks

• Identify damage to aircraft components and determine appropriate repair techniques and materials

• Safely and efficiently apply manufacturer's specifications, relevant repair documents, work orders and drawings

• Perform repair work on aircraft sheet metal components (drilling, riveting, sawing, edging, bending)

• Inspection of the performed work with the help of testing/measuring equipment

• Preparation of required technical documentation of all repair work performed

• Care and maintenance of tools

Qualification

• Completed training as a mechanic for sheet metal working or construction mechanic specializing in sheet metal working; or similar.

• Ideally, first professional experience in performing aviation-related sheet metal repair work according to SRM or CMM

• Experience in aviation

• Aviation specific training (human factors, EWIS, tank safety) is desirable

• Good technical English skills

• EU work permit as well as background check is required

• Class B driving license

• Quality-conscious team player with a forward-looking approach to work
