Tasks

• Modification of aircrafts (e.g. installation of new avionics systems)

• Analysing and coordinating technical, operational and aviation law requirements in cooperation with customers, suppliers and the internal departments Flight Operations, Engineering and CAMO

• Developing technical solutions based on the approved development process

• Definition and realisation of qualification tests

• Preparation of all necessary documents for airworthiness certification, installation and operation of the modifications

• Collaboration with the type test centre as part of the development projects and for maintaining official approval as an EASA Part 21J development organisation

• Project management in own projects incl. coordination of external partners and suppliers

Qualification

• Successfully completed technical studies or comparable training, preferably specialising in aerospace engineering, aviation (systems) engineering, electrical engineering or a similar qualification

• Several years of professional experience in the development of aircraft or their components with a focus on analogue and digital circuit technology, power electronics and aircraft electrics

• Knowledge of the regulations and methods of aircraft certification and verification according to relevant specifications (EASA Part 21J, CS-25, FAR-25)

• Business fluent in German and English

• Existing work permit for the EU
