Tasks

  • Taking responsibility for safety, delivery and quality in all phases of the assembly process

  • Following drawings, work instructions and project plans

  • Assembling electrical wiring systems

  • Carrying out earthing tests and identifying and rectifying faults

  • Assembling or modifying tools and fixtures and ensuring that they are in stock

  • Troubleshooting and reporting faults to the appropriate teams and assisting in root cause analysis

  • Implementing and maintaining production system manufacturing data

  • Improving manufacturing standards and process requirements

  • Supporting the implementation of digital improvements and innovations when working with manufacturing execution systems

Qualification

  • Successfully completed training as an electrical engineer in the aerospace, automotive or power electronics industry

  • Many years of experience in the manufacture and/or repair of electromechanical components, including systems with medium or high voltages

  • Willingness to work with low voltage electrical components

  • Experience with aerospace electrical wiring systems, testing and troubleshooting would be a distinct advantage

  • Experience in quality testing and a confident approach to battery systems would be an advantage

  • Basic knowledge of English

  • Willingness to work in 2-shift system (early and late shift)
