Electronics Technician for System Architecture (m/f/x)

Tasks

  • Development of detailed specifications and interface documents (ICDs) for electrical systems and components
  • Active participation in customer projects as well as contact and coordination with customers
  • Development and elaboration of basic concepts for the architecture of monument electrics
  • Planning and designing electrical systems and components as well as creating and adapting wiring diagrams and bills of materials (BOMs)
  • Use of CATIA V5 (EHI) and SAP ECTR (PDM) for any necessary 3D design
  • Creation of important verification documents (Delta ELA, EWIS Report, ATP/ATR) for documentation and quality assurance
  • Collaboration and coordination with the Mechanical Design, Qualification and Airworthiness teams
  • Support and coordination of prototype construction (cable harnesses) and testing as well as processing of operational customer inquiries and participation in optimization projects

Qualification

  • Completed studies in electrical engineering, aerospace engineering or a comparable qualification as a technician or business administrator
  • Alternatively, completed training as an electrician or electronics technician for aeronautical systems (aircraft electronics technician), ideally at technician or business administrator level
  • Several years of professional experience in electrics, electrical engineering/electronics and aerospace engineering or aerospace technology
  • Experience with cabin ATA systems (ATA 25, ATA 92) is desirable, but not essential
  • Expertise in the architecture and design of monument electrics
  • In-depth user knowledge of MS Office and Catia V5, initial experience with SAP, as well as experience in the creation of system schematics, wiring diagrams, EWIS reports and Delta ELAs
  • Business fluent in German and proficient in English
  • Existing work permit for the EU
