Tasks

• Coordination and control of the entire procurement process for special production materials (SFM), from the determination of requirements to the final delivery, efficient organisation of all procurement steps
• Ensuring on-time and on-budget procurement through to series production at the customer's premises
• Effective collaboration and communication with production to fulfil specific requirements and ensure smooth processes
• Ensuring that design services for customised production equipment are commissioned and implemented on time
• Comparing and analysing bids to ensure the best possible quality and cost efficiency
• Selecting suitable bidders for the manufacture of customised production equipment based on quality, price and adherence to deadlines
• Ensuring the long-term functionality of customised production equipment through timely maintenance measures
• Supporting the production departments in all matters relating to tools and special production equipment

Qualification

• Completed vocational training in a woodworking profession, as an industrial mechanic, mechatronics technician, process mechanic for plastics and rubber, toolmaker or comparable technical training (at least technician or business administrator)
• Initial professional experience in technical purchasing and engineering, ideally in an industrial environment
• Confident handling of MS Office, including detailed functions; in-depth user knowledge of SAP and CATIA V5
• Business fluent in German and English
• Existing work permit for the European Union
