Tasks

• Analysis, evaluation, design and implementation of new electroplating and painting technology and processes

• Conceptual design and planning of the corresponding plants, equipment and production processes, including material flow and provision, taking into account the process and production regulations

• Further development and optimisation of processes, work standards and methods for the surface protection of individual parts

• Further development of manufacturing processes, taking into account environmental and emission targets

• Coordination with manufacturing, factory planning, M&P and quality assurance as well as other site services

• Collaboration on CAPEX / OPEX processes with subsequent plant and process qualification

• Regular reporting on status and target achievement

• Preparation of and participation in technical and process acceptances

Qualification

• Completed engineering studies or equivalent qualification

• Several years of professional experience

• Extensive knowledge of project management and agile working methods

• Knowledge of manufacturing regulations

• Experience with automation and digitalisation is an advantage

• Previous knowledge of surface coating (electroplating / paint shop) desirable

• Know-how of manufacturing specifications

• Good user knowledge of industry-standard software such as MS Office and SAP as well as initial practical experience with CATIA V5 or Siemens PlantSimulation

• Business fluent in German and English

• Work permit for the EU
