Job description

Tasks

  • Integration design for avionic or electrical systems and components in aircraft or helicopters

  • Creation of the conceptual design of the system architecture and specification

  • Definition of interfaces and requirements as well as creation of test plans (ground and flight tests)

  • Support in the definition of certification programs and preparation of documentation to demonstrate compliance

  • Detailed design with manufacturing and installation documentation

  • Equipment qualification (preparation / support of environmental qualification tests)

  • Preparation of supplements to aircraft documentation

  • Integration and test support at customer or MRO (Part 145) site

Requirements

  • Successfully completed degree in electrical engineering / systems engineering or equivalent qualification

  • Several years of work experience in a similar position in the aviation industry

  • Very good knowledge of aircraft / avionics systems and related aircraft documentation, with deep understanding of aircraft system architecture, system interfaces and requirements engineering

  • Good knowledge of certification regulations and standards

  • Qualification to work as a CVE an advantage

  • Business fluent English and good German language skills

  • EU citizen with residence in Germany

  • Mobility and willingness to travel

  • Team player with independent and reliable working style, strong quality orientation and flexibility
