Preparation of monthly/quarterly and annual financial statements as well as reporting for the European subsidiaries in SAP/R3 and SAP/BW
Taking over projects in the "Shared Service Centre", i.e. identification and elaboration of "best practice" solutions and their support until successful implementation within the local branches
Checking transactions and bookings of the European branches and ensuring uniform corporate standards (SOX)
Contributing to the proper mapping of European financial processes, especially in the area of accruals and deferrals
Supporting, assisting and training the local finance departments on reporting or US GAAP consolidation issues
Successfully completed business studies
Alternatively, completed commercial vocational training with additional further training to become an (international) balance sheet accountant
First professional experience in an auditing company as well as several years of professional experience in the accounting department of an internationally operating company
Very good knowledge of MS Office and SAP
Good command of English
