Tasks

• Analysis of customer requirements and development of suitable solution strategies

• Advising the specialist departments on process and information technology topics

• Ongoing cooperation with key users

• Developing and agreeing IT requirements and assessing them in terms of feasibility and cost-effectiveness

• Documentation of requirements in coordination with the specialist departments

• Creation and implementation of functional concepts

• Taking over the technical management of projects

Qualification

• Solid knowledge of forwarding processes and practical experience in the field of supply chain management

• Ideally many years of professional experience

• Knowledge of common transport management systems such as CargoSoft and CargoWise One is an advantage

• Know-how in common EDI formats (EDIFACT, XML) is desirable

• Strong service orientation and ability to work independently and target-oriented as well as analytical competence

• Preferably knowledge of ITIL and project management

• Willingness to travel globally
