Tasks

• Develop and implement procurement strategies for recurring and project-related requirements to ensure efficient and sustainable tenders
• Independent realisation of (EU) tenders including pre-qualification of suppliers, contract design, negotiations and award processes
• Realising synergy effects through close cooperation with various internal departments and specialist areas to reduce costs and increase efficiency
• Developing innovative procurement solutions in a dynamic and complex market environment, taking into account the interests of internal stakeholders and suppliers
• Preparation and presentation of decision papers on procurement strategy and awarding in management committees to support strategic decisions
• Cost optimisation with simultaneous quality assurance in the procurement process to achieve long-term savings and ensure the quality of supplier relationships
• Active supplier management as well as development and evaluation of suppliers to ensure long-term and successful partnerships
• Control of contract management with responsibility for contract negotiations, the management of supplements and the handling of contract disruptions (claim management)

Qualification

• Degree from a university of applied sciences / university degree or comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in a comparable position in the field of IT procurement
• Sound knowledge of IT procurement (managed services, software/licences, hardware)
• Legal expertise in contract design (SektVO, BGB, VOB, VOL) and knowledge of German eProcurement is desirable
• Technical understanding and knowledge of SAP (MM), MS Office
• Business fluent in German and English
• Strong communication and negotiation skills as well as assertiveness, quick comprehension and methodological competence
• Team player with an entrepreneurial mindset who takes responsibility and embraces change positively
