Conceptual development and operation of the central web presence of the TU Darmstadt (First Spirit)
Operation and further development of the Linux servers at the HRZ as part of the basic assurance of IT services
Close coordination with all interfaces, customer consultation and support
Completed university degree in the field of computer science or comparable
Alternatively, completed vocational training as an IT specialist :in for system integration or comparable with equivalent skills and experience
Several years of experience in Linux administration, preferably in the distributions RedHat / CentOs
Good knowledge of German and English
Team player :in with strong communication skills, creativity as well as an analytical and structured way of thinking and acting

Very good knowledge of script programming languages (Python).
Strong skills in Apache, Tomcat and Java
Confident handling of Linux HA, preferably pacemaker

Practical skills in the area of MySQL/MariaDB
Experience in dealing with configuration management systems, preferably SALT
