Tasks

• Carrying out regular inspections, maintenance and tests on avionic systems in accordance with manufacturer regulations and aviation standards

• Identifying and rectifying faults or defects in the avionic systems

• Carrying out functional tests and diagnostics to ensure the proper functioning of all avionic systems

• Analysing faults and malfunctions to identify the cause and taking appropriate measures to rectify them

• Carrying out repairs to defective avionic components or systems

• Replacing parts in accordance with the relevant technical regulations

• Preparing reports and documentation

• Ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with aviation regulations and manufacturer specifications

• Working closely with other maintenance staff and various departments to ensure smooth operations

Qualification

• Successfully completed vocational training as an electronics technician for aeronautical systems, aircraft mechanic, electrical engineer or electrical engineering technician

• Possession of a basic B2 licence in the field of aircraft mechanics as well as possession or proof of professional experience in the field of B2 licences

• Initial experience in Part 145 operations

• Expertise in the area of certifying staff

• Type ratings on Airbus and Boeing are an advantage

• Initial knowledge of PC applications, especially SAP desirable

• Business fluent in English and basic knowledge of German or business fluent in German and basic knowledge of English

• Existing work permit for the EU
