Remuneration is in accordance with pay group JG12 as per the collective agreement for the chemical industry. The recognition of work experience relevant to the stage time will be decided on an individual basis.

Job description

Tasks

  • Assumption of general project coordination

  • Planning and coordination of changes and trials in the production process

  • Responsibility for the development, introduction, coordination and implementation of measures as well as the maintenance of plant-specific programmes

  • Close cooperation with the production manager

  • Ensuring the maintenance of the plant's integrated management system

  • Ensuring the overall planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of plant shutdowns and turn-arounds, taking into account safety, cost and efficiency aspects

Requirements

  • Completed studies in the field of process engineering, chemical engineering or a similar discipline

  • Many years of professional experience in the production environment of the chemical industry, preferably polymer production

  • Expert knowledge of physical-chemical and process engineering interrelationships and chemical technologies

  • Knowledge of German and European accident, environmental, occupational health and safety legislation

  • Experienced handling of management systems (preferably Responsible Care©, ITAF 16.949, ISO 9.001, ISO 14.001, ISO 50.001), MS Office and process control systems (e.g. MOD-V, ABB)

  • Good German and very good English skills
