Manufacturing Engineer Equipment Management (m/f/x)

On behalf of our client Lufthansa Technik AG at the Hamburg site, we are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer Equipment Management to support the planning and further development of production equipment, with a focus on mechanical measuring tools and personal protective equipment. Tasks

  • Planning, procurement and modification of production equipment, with a particular focus on mechanical measuring tools and personal protective equipment
  • Analysis and further development of existing systems
  • Automation of technical processes to increase efficiency
  • Participation in national and international projects for the equipment of production facilities with machines, systems and tools
  • Consulting and support for internal customers regarding production equipment, machinery and systems

Qualification

  • Completed degree or certified technician/master qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or Production Engineering
  • Initial professional experience in handling production equipment, measuring systems and personal protective equipment
  • Knowledge in the field of product and operational safety (e.g. Machinery Directive, Product Safety Act)
  • Theoretical and practical expertise in metrology including calibration, as well as occupational safety
  • Solid IT skills, especially in SAP and Microsoft 365
  • Good command of English (at least B2 level)
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
