Job description


  • Manage the process flow of creating customer samples and application reports

  • Creating understanding about customer requirements and providing the best solution

  • Designing customer demonstrations at trade shows and customer sites

  • Developing and publishing papers and application notes at established industry conferences and in journals

  • Participate in trade shows and conferences to support sales activities and product launches

  • Conduct X-ray applications to support global applications group and develop automated X-ray inspection routines

  • Develop papers and new test methods in collaboration with customers, academia and standards committees

  • Complete ad hoc tasks as needed


  • Successfully completed degree in applied physics, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, materials engineering or a related technical / physical discipline

  • Experience with industrial X-ray inspection systems, computed tomography, servo control systems for inspection/measurement, and working with imaging systems and image processing methods

  • Knowledge of working with computer controlled electromechanical systems and/or scientific instrumentation

  • Understanding of semiconductor device fabrication, electronic devices, and test/inspection principles and commitment to hands-on work in a laboratory/industrial environment

  • Willingness to travel as needed

  • Organizational skills with strong communication skills
