Develop, review and update mechanical engineering guidelines, design criteria, specifications and standards.
Plan, coordinate, and execute basic and detailed mechanical engineering development with respect to quality, cost, and schedule
Establish proper tracking of engineering activities and determine appropriate and timely corrective actions
Organize and assist in the execution of technical analyses and budgets for EMEAA projects
Provide technical analysis and recommendations for preferred vendors
Ensure safe performance of all construction activities within applicable codes and standards
Conduct periodic audits
Ensure compliance with EH&S in the area of mechanical engineering.
Successfully completed studies in engineering, e.g. with a focus on mechanical engineering
Several years of professional experience in an engineering office in the heavy industry as well as in personnel management
Knowledge of cement, ready-mixed concrete and aggregate industry processes, engineering process and project development, and main and auxiliary equipment for the cement process
Experience working in a large utility and multicultural environment a plus
Experienced handling of CAD, AutoCad, Staad Pro, SAP 2000 and Robot
Business fluent in German and English
Willingness to travel on business
